Leadership team
Jack Marshall
Jack leads Toolkits’ coverage and analysis of publisher monetization, exploring how media companies can effectively and sustainably monetize digital content. He’s covered the business of digital media for nearly 20 years, previously holding senior editorial positions at publications including The Wall Street Journal, Digiday, and Incisive Media.
Jack also has extensive experience as a media operator and product manager, having built and managed content-led digital products and subscription businesses within leading publishers, and advised and consulted major media companies on how best to establish and grow direct audience revenue as part of a broader revenue mix.
Shareen Pathak
Shareen is a journalist, editorial strategist and content product leader with extensive experience building and operating successful content products and businesses.
She leads Toolkits’ coverage of how brands are building media companies and also advises brands, advertising agencies and tech companies on how to create high-quality media operations and robust communications strategies. She is a graduate of the Columbia University School of Journalism.
