Documentaries are a popular format for marketers these days.
Last week, X CEO Linda Yaccarino announced that the platform is in talks with sports leagues to produce docuseries that will live on X. The company has already been investing in long-form video as a way to attract more ad money, and Yaccarino announced that a docuseries about NWSL players called “The Offseason” will stream exclusively on the platform. A Boston Celtics docuseries created with FanDuel also premiered on X in May.
