Chick-Fil-A is reportedly looking to launch its own video streaming platform, and is working with production companies and major studios to create original content in addition to licensing content, according to Deadline.
Chick-Fil-A has tried this before: In 2022, the company produced a series of animated short films called “Stories of Evergreen Hills.” Sources told Deadline that budgets for unscripted programming typically are $400,000 per half-hour. A branded content executive told Toolkits that the new platform will likely focus on family-friendly entertainment as it aligns with the company’s brand values as well. “Their thing is family-friendly food, they’re closed on Sundays, so this could be a way to go,” this person said.
